About the Founder
As a mother Louise has experience of taking care of children and identified an opportunity to improve the pram experience for both baby and parent. There were stylish and lifestyle lead prams available but no real innovation in terms of functionality and thinking about the in pram experience for children.
Louise observed, to protect your child from changes in weather and environmental conditions, as a parent you had to remember various different accessories to ensure that your child remains comfortable. There was an obvious unmet need to build these accessories into the pram as standard.
After extensive research with other parents a clear vision emerged – to bring technological innovation and engineering to the pram sector and cater for all eventualities that you may encounter when travelling with your child.
Creating Sustainable products
The EBITSU has been built to last.
We promote sustainability as a business and as such we operate a ‘buy back‘ scheme once you no longer need the product.
As an environmentally conscious business EBITSU want to ensure we proactively limit our carbon fibre footprint. As such we don’t want our products to reach the end of life, disposed in landfill. EBITSU have selected sustainable, durable materials to ensure we work proactively in creating sustainable products.
We will be offering a buy back scheme in Sept 2022.
The buy back scheme will offer a valuation depending on the condition of the pram, the pram will be re-conditioned and sold to the next generation of parents who want one of our pre-loved products.
According to the European Environment Agency, extending the lifetime and delaying the obsolescence of electronics can significantly reduce their environmental and climate impact. To do this involves increasing product lifetimes and delaying and improving their design for re-circulation.
Studies show, the average actual lifetime of a number of electrical products are 2.3 years shorter than their designed and desired lifetime.
